Cincinnati Bengals tight end Tyler Eifert avoided a serious ankle injury at the Pro Bowl, the team announced on Tuesday.
Eifert suffered a sprained ankle and is expected to be ready for any offseason work the team has scheduled.
The first-time Pro Bowler was forced to leave Sunday's game after he came down awkwardly on his foot. X-rays revealed no bone damage to the foot.
Eifert caught 52 passes for 615 yards and 13 touchdowns in a breakout campaign.
