Beyonce to perform with Coldplay at Super Bowl 50 halftime show

This could be a Super Bowl halftime show for the ages.

Beyonce will join Coldplay's halftime performance at Super Bowl 50, Pepsi confirmed to Entertainment Tonight.

The pop superstar and the rock band teamed up on "Hymn for the Weekend," a song that appeared on Coldplay's most recent album, "A Head Full of Dreams."

Many believe Super Bowl 50 could be the most-watched event in American television history, making it a prime opportunity for Beyonce to add to her nearly unparalleled fan base.

The Super Bowl takes place on Feb. 7 at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.
