Report: Titans' Mariota believed to have suffered minor knee strain

Tennessee Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota is believed to have suffered a minor knee strain in Sunday's loss to the New England Patriots, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
With just two games left in the season, Rapoport speculates the Titans may decide to ride Zach Mettenberger the rest of the way rather than risk further injury to Mariota.
Interim head coach Mike Mularkey hinted that could be a possibility, telling reporters the team thought it was best to hold Mariota out for the remainder of the game and that it was too early to know about his Week 16 status.
Mettenberger went 20-of-28 for 242 yards with two touchdowns and a pair of interceptions in relief of Mariota on Sunday.
