Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy suffered a sprained MCL during Sunday's loss to the Washington Redskins and is considered day to day, according to Rand Getlin of NFL Network.

McCoy was unable to return to Sunday's game after taking a hit from Redskins safety Dashon Goldson.

McCoy was replaced by Karlos Williams and Mike Gillislee and, with the Bills officially eliminated from the playoffs, there's no rush to get him back on the field.

During his first season in Buffalo, McCoy has tallied 895 rushing yards and five total touchdowns. He has four years left on his contract.
