Green Bay Packers running back Eddie Lacy suffered a groin injury in Sunday's loss to the Carolina Panthers, ESPN's Rob Demovsky reports.

The injury flew under the radar, as Lacy appeared to be briefly benched in favor of backup James Starks before suffering the injury.

Through eight games, Lacy has posted a tremendously disappointing 308 yards on 83 rushing attempts (3.7 yards per carry) with two touchdowns and three fumbles. He's added 10 catches for 92 yards.
