New England Patriots wide receiver Brandon LaFell will be active Sunday for the first time this season, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
LaFell was activated off the physically unable to perform list Saturday after missing the Patriots' first five games with a foot injury. He returned to practice Wednesday and said Friday that he felt good.
"I'm tired of lifting weights, tired of rehabbing," LaFell said, according to ESPN's Mike Reiss. "I'm ready to get back to playing football."
Depending on his conditioning, LaFell should be on the field for at least half the plays against the New York Jets, according to Schefter.
LaFell played in every game last season, finishing with a career-high 74 receptions for 953 yards and seven touchdowns.
