The New England Patriots have cut veteran cornerback Bradley Fletcher, according to Field Yates of ESPN.
Fletcher was benched after giving up several big plays in the first two weeks of the season. Tarell Brown and Malcolm Butler have been the Patriots' starting corners since.
Fletcher was in his first season with the Pats after spending four seasons with the St. Louis Rams and two with the Philadelphia Eagles. He has eight career interceptions.
The Patriots signed defensive back Brandon King from their practice squad.
