J.J. Watt frustrated after Andre Johnson's big night: 'I don't cover him'

Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt came as close to calling out teammates as he ever has after watching former teammate Andre Johnson shred the Texans defense in the Indianapolis Colts' 27-20 win Thursday.

The 34-year-old Johnson caught six passes for 77 yards and two touchdowns. And he did it with a sick, 40-year-old Matt Hasselbeck throwing him the ball.

"Yeah, I'd say there's frustration," Watt admitted after the game when asked about the Texans inability to stop Johnson.

The reigning Defensive Player of the Year then seemed to verge on pointing a finger at his defensive teammates for allowing Johnson to go off.

"He's a good football player. He made some plays. I'm not sure, I don't cover him. So I couldn't tell you what happened," he said.

No one has ever questioned Watt's commitment to winning, so perhaps he gets a free pass here. Still, it's probably safe to say the Texans secondary won't appreciate these comments.
