The Philadelphia Eagles bolstered their linebacker corps Tuesday, signing Najee Goode.
The move comes two days after the Eagles lost linebackers Kiko Alonso (knee) and Mychal Kendricks (hamstring) to injury. Kendricks could return in time for Sunday's game against the New York Jets, but Alonso's season is reportedly in jeopardy.
Goode spent the previous two seasons with the Eagles, contributing primarily on special teams. He was released by the team earlier this month.
Offensive lineman Julian Vandervelde was cut to make room for Goode on the active roster.
