Chiefs trade Kelcie McCray to Seahawks for reported 5th-round pick

The Kansas City Chiefs traded safety Kelcie McCray to the Seattle Seahawks, the team announced in a press release.
Seattle will send a fifth-round pick to Kansas City in exchange, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
With star strong safety Kam Chancellor in the middle of a holdout, the Seahawks are likely looking for a temporary fix.

McCray recorded 11 tackles last season in all 16 games with the Chiefs. The veteran safety took 76 snaps last season and was graded positively by scouting service Pro Football Focus.
