Atlanta Falcons tight end Jacob Tamme was forced from Thursday's game against the Baltimore Ravens with a back injury.
Tamme, who is expected to start for Atlanta, went down after taking a big hit in the first quarter, but was able to walk off the field under his own power.
The 30-year-old pass-catching tight end had one reception for 13 yards before leaving the game.
The Falcons are already thin at tight end after Tony Moeaki suffered a thigh injury in the team's third preseason game.
