Broncos place Ryan Clady on injured reserve
Chris Humphreys / USA TODAY Sports
Ryan Clady's season is officially over.
The Denver Broncos placed the left tackle on injured reserve just one day after it was announced he suffered a torn ACL during OTAs.
Denver signed Ryan Harris to help fill the void in Clady's absence, but it's a significant downgrade. Clady's loss will be a major blow to an offense led by a virtually immobile quarterback.
Peyton Manning does a lot of things well, but escaping pressure is not one of them. If the Broncos can't overcome the loss of Clady, it could be an uphill climb to make a playoff run.
