The Houston Texans selected running back Kenny Hilliard out of LSU in the seventh round of the 2015 NFL Draft.
As a high schooler, Hilliard was billed as a likely future NFL star by Sports Illustrated.
The Texans were rumored to be considering an early pick on a running back like Todd Gurley or Melvin Gordon, but instead waited until the seventh round to add depth at the position. That likely bodes well for incumbent starter Arian Foster.
