Thomas said Monday that he will not attend the Broncos' offseason workouts, nor quarterback Peyton Manning's training sessions with the other wideouts at Duke University, ESPN.com reports.

Analysis:

The Broncos used the franchise tag on Thomas, which will guarantee him $12.823 million this season, though he has yet to sign the contract. He continues to want a long-term contract, and while he said his agent is working on it with the team, there doesn't seem to be much movement. Thomas has been one of the best fantasy wideouts over the last few years and is looking to become one of the highest-paid receivers in the league. Because of the likely huge contract they will have to give him, the Broncos were unable to bring back tight end Julius Thomas, who signed a five-year deal with the Jaguars, potentially opening up even more targets for the wideout next season.
