The San Francisco 49ers have waived offensive tackle Jonathan Martin.
San Francisco acquired Martin in a trade with the Miami Dolphins before the 2014 season. Martin was a second round pick of the Dolphins in 2012.
Enjoyed my time with the @49ers, lucky & blessed to have been a part of a great organization. On to the next one

Martin started in nine games for the 49ers last season and played in 15. The move will save the 49ers $1.042 million against the cap.
The Richie Incognito bullying incident will likely follow Martin wherever he goes.
