Arizona Cardinals general manager Steve Keim was named Sporting News's NFL executive of the year Tuesday.
The award, which is voted on by fellow NFL executives, was announced at the league meetings in Phoenix.
Keim's award follows Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians' selection as the AP Coach of the Year earlier this year.
Keim made 217 roster moves last season as the Cardinals were forced to overcome numerous injuries to key contributors. The team finished with a franchise-record tying 11 wins and earned a wild-card berth.
