Robert Mathis may not be ready to "re-emerge" from a torn Achilles injury until November, Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay told the team's official web site.
Analysis:
Mathis missed all of last season due to a torn Achilles. He had said he hoped to be ready for spring practices, but this statement sounds like he won't be ready until later this year. At age 34 and coming off a major injury, it's possible his career could be over due to the ailment.
