Three Baltimore Ravens players have been arrested this offseason. All three are no longer with the team.

The Ravens announced the release of running back Bernard Pierce hours after he was arrested for DUI on Wednesday.

Pierce was reportedly pulled over for speeding. The officer suspected Pierce had been drinking and conducted a field sobriety test.

Pierce joined the Ravens as a third-round pick in 2012. His career got off to a promising start as a rookie but he struggled with efficiency in 2013 and his involvement in the offense dropped off last season despite a suspension to presumed starter Ray Rice

Pierce was set to earn $660,000 on the final year of his rookie deal. He will be subject to waivers.
