Joe Nicholson / USA TODAY Sports

The Seattle Seahawks have cut veteran tight end Zach Miller and waived offensive tackle Garrett Scott and defensive tackle Jesse Williams.

Miller has been with the Seahawks since 2011 and recorded 102 receptions for 1,092 yards and eight touchdowns while with the team. He only played in three games in 2014 after suffering an ankle injury and was placed on injured reserve.

The team also made the signing of defensive end Greg Scruggs official.
