The San Francisco 49ers could be getting in on the trade fun.
San Francisco is trying to trade linebacker Michael Wilhoite, according to Matt Barrows of The Sacramento Bee.
Wilhoite started 16 games in 2014, but only because of injuries to NaVorro Bowman and Patrick Willis.
With both slated to come back healthy in 2015 and the emergence of youngsters Chris Borland and Shayne Skov, Wilhoite became expendable.
Barrows notes the 49ers will be seeking a late-round draft pick in exchange for Wilhoite.
