The Philadelphia Eagles have parted ways with cornerback Cary Williams, clearing $6.5 million in salary-cap space.
Williams, a former seventh-round pick, had stints with the Tennessee Titans and Baltimore Ravens before signing with the Eagles in 2013. He started all 32 games for Philadelphia over the past two seasons, recording one sack and 126 tackles.
The Eagles have now cleared $13.3 million in cap space this offseason, according to Spotrac.
