The Detroit Lions re-signed defensive end Darryl Tapp to a one-year contract worth $950,000 last month, according to Dave Birkett of The Detroit Free Press.
Birkett reports that NFLPA records show that Tapp was quietly re-signed in February, after recording 17 tackles in 16 games.
Tapp was initially signed by Detroit, released before the 2014 season, and then signed again before Week 1.
The 30-year-old has played parts of nine NFL seasons with the Seattle Seahawks, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Redskins and Lions.
