Report: Falcons among potential suitors for Justin Forsett
The Atlanta Falcons will have significant interest in running back Justin Forsett if the Baltimore Ravens allow him to hit the open market, according to ESPN's Vaughn McClure.
Forsett enjoyed a productive 2014 campaign with the Ravens, rushing for a career-high 1,266 yards and eight touchdowns on 235 carries. He said the Ravens have expressed an interest in bringing him back and that he would like to return to Baltimore for a second season.
The Falcons are looking to upgrade the running back position, with Jacquizz Rodgers and Antone Smith both headed for free agency and veteran Steven Jackson not expected back.
Falcons head coach Dan Quinn, who is familiar with Forsett from their brief time together in Seattle, said he plans to bring balance to the offense with a stronger run game.
