Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson has won more games than any quarterback through their first three years

Reeling from Sunday's heartbreaking defeat in Super Bowl XLIX, Wilson reiterated on Tuesday his desire to play for the Seahawks for the entirety of his career.

The Seahawks' star spoke to reporters about the loss to the New England Patriots and entering free agency, where he is widely expected to become the highest-paid quarterback in the NFL.

"You know, I obviously want to play in Seattle forever," Wilson said via the Seattle Times' Bob Condotta. "That’s my goal, and I want to be with this organization. I love this organization. I love this city. I love these fans, and I love winning here.

"We’ve won a lot of football games here, and that’s the goal, you know. Every year I step on the field, every time I go out those doors back there, the goal is to have a winning day and the goal is to have a winning practice with great teammates around me. So, I think that’s where my focus is, is just continue to find ways to win, and hopefully it’s here in Seattle forever."

Wilson led Seattle to back-to-back Super Bowl appearances, and made the playoffs in each of his three NFL seasons.

Seattle captured Super Bowl XLVIII with a 43-8 victory over the Denver Broncos in 2014 - its first title in franchise history.
