An MRI revealed that Seattle Seahawks safety Earl Thomas suffered a dislocated shoulder in Sunday's 28-22 overtime victory over the Green Bay Packers, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The good news is that the injury isn't expected to keep Thomas out of the Super Bowl.
"Earl will play in the Super Bowl, don't even waste any time on the story," a source told Schefter via text message.
Thomas suffered the injury while attempting to tackle wide receiver Randall Cobb and was taken to the locker room for further evaluation. He was able to return to the game, but had his shoulder heavily wrapped.
