With LeGarrette Blount out, Jonas Gray is in line to serve as the Patriots' top power back in Week 16, with Vereen also a candidate to see some added carries on Sunday. Vereen's fantasy upside continues to hinge on his usage in the Patriots' passing game, an area in which he has been used sporadically over his past three games –- a span in which he has combined for five catches 68 yards -- though on Sunday he could see a few more looks on that front, with target-gobbling wideout Julian Edelman inactive.
