NFL agent Tom Condon to remain at CAA despite reports of departure
One of the NFL's most well-known player agents appeared set to depart his current company, but he's since denied any truth to the rumor.
Tom Condon, agent for a number of star players around the league, including Peyton Manning, Eli Manning and Drew Brees, was reportedly set to leave his position at Creative Arts Agency, according to FOX Sports.
Condon quickly responded through ESPN's Chris Mortensen on Saturday, claiming he won't be leaving CAA and intends to finish his career there:
Super agent Tom Condon statement: “I’ve had 8 fantastic years at CAA, I’m not leaving & I’m going to finish my career there.” #badrumor

It's not too often player representatives are the ones making headlines, but Condon has long been one of the most respected agents in the league, and his departure from CAA certainly could have shaken things up in the industry.
