Week 10: Jets stun Steelers; Cardinals earn 8th victory despite losing Palmer
Every Sunday, theScore brings you the biggest and most interesting stories as they happen. Check back throughout the day for important updates on everything you need to know.
Jets upset Steelers
Not many people would have given the New York Jets a chance against the Pittsburgh Steelers, but that's why they play the games.
The Jets jumped out to a 17-3 halftime lead, thanks to a pair of touchdown passes by Michael Vick, and never looked back for the 20-13 win.
Vick also ran for 39 yards, becoming the first quarterback ever to run for 6,000 yards in a career.
Antonio Brown lost two fumbles and Pittsburgh had four turnovers overall, as the Steelers' offense looked nothing like the team that was lighting up the scoreboard the past two weeks.
Carson Palmer suffers knee injury

It wasn't that long ago that the Arizona Cardinals got Carson Palmer back from a shoulder issue, but now he may have suffered a serious knee injury.
Palmer appeared to injure the knee without contact after escaping a would-be sack and reports are that it could be a torn ACL.
Arizona survived without Palmer for three games earlier in the season, but it's hard to take the Cardinals seriously as a contender if he's lost for an extended period of time.
Meanwhile, the Miami Dolphins also suffered a big blow Sunday as left tackle Branden Albert was reportedly lost for the year with a knee injury.
He will have an MRI on Monday to determine the extent of the damage, but reports are he will need season-ending surgery.
Albert has anchored the Dolphins' line all year, and was no doubt a big reason why Ryan Tannehill has improved in recent weeks.
Other notable injuries:
- Saints corner Keenan Lewis left Sunday's game against the 49ers with a quad injury but did return. He's emerged as a top player at his position this season.
- Jags receiver Allen Hurns was lost for the day with a concussion against the Cowboys.
- Titans tight end Delanie Walker suffered a concussion of his own versus the Ravens.
- Raiders cornerback DJ Hayden went down with a groin injury against the Broncos.
Lynch's four touchdowns power Seahawks

The New York Giants gave the Seattle Seahawks all they could handle for three quarters, until Marshawn Lynch took over.
Already with a pair of rushing touchdowns in the first half, Lynch ran for two more in the fourth to lead the Seahawks to an easy 38-17 win.
Lynch ran for 140 yards in total. Rumors persist that he won't be with the team next year, but it's games like this that illustrate his importance to the Seahawks.
49ers escape New Orleans with a win

It's never easy beating the New Orleans Saints in the Superdome, but the San Francisco 49ers were desperate.
The 49ers were in danger of falling well behind in the NFC West with another loss after trailing the Saints late, but Colin Kaepernick led them down the field in the final minute of regulation to set up a game-tying field goal.
In overtime, the San Francisco defense came through with a sack fumble of Drew Brees deep in Saints territory. An easy Phil Dawson field goal followed to give the 49ers a 27-24 win and their season new life.
Lions welcome Calvin Johnson back with a win

The Detroit Lions haven't had the services of Calvin Johnson since Week 5 and the receiver wasted little time making an impact on Sunday.
Johnson hauled in an impressive 49-yard touchdown catch in the first quarter from Matthew Stafford.
However, Detroit found itself trailing the Miami Dolphins 16-13 in the final minute before Stafford worked some magic. The Lions' pivot found Theo Riddick in the back of the end zone with 29 seconds left to give Detroit a 20-16 win.
Romo's return gets Cowboys back on track

That long flight to London certainly didn't seem to bother Tony Romo's ailing back.
Romo threw three touchdown passes and for 246 yards, leading the Cowboys to a 31-17 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Dez Bryant is glad to have Romo back. He grabbed six catches for 158 yards and a pair of touchdowns after struggling to get much going with Brandon Weeden behind center last week.
