Mike Tomlin: Steelers' 'undisciplined' play was 'ridiculous'
Charles LeClaire / USA TODAY Sports
Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin turned the heat on his players after their last-minute loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, describing them as "undisciplined."
"The defining factor in determining the outcome of that football game is that we were way too highly penalized," Tomlin added (via NFL.com). "It's ridiculous."
The Steelers took 13 penalties in the game, including six of the 15-yard variety.
Two penalties were for unsportsmanlike conduct, with Antonio Brown getting pegged for celebrating and Le'Veon Bell for taunting.
"Post-play penalties are ridiculous," Tomlin said. "That we have full control over."
