Victor Cruz says Eli Manning's rushing TD 'almost like seeing a UFO'

New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz was as shocked as anyone to see quarterback Eli Manning run for a touchdown Thursday night.

“It’s never something that … it’s almost like seeing a UFO or seeing a unicorn or something like that,” Cruz said Friday via the New York Post. “But it’s cool. We will take it. I know Eli will take it."

The 1-yard rushing score was only the fifth of Manning's 11-year NFL career, and came as part of the Giants' dominant 45-14 win over the Washington Redskins.

Manning's five total touchdowns on the night may prove to be the start of a much-needed Giants turnaround under new offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo.
