Report: Redskins' DeAngelo Hall to undergo season-ending surgery
Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports
Washington Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall confirmed Monday that he is out for season after tearing his Achilles in Sunday's loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
Speaking with NBC's Dianna Marie Russini, Hall said he will undergo season-ending surgery in the next few days. He also revealed the injury is a complete tear.
The Redskins are "leaning towards" promoting Chase Minnifield from the practice squad to fill Hall's roster spot, according to an earlier report by Mike Jones of the Washington Post.
