Packers' Clay Matthews taking cautious approach after tweaking groin
Green Bay Packers linebacker Clay Matthews doesn't know the severity of the groin injury he suffered Sunday, but he does remember how it happened.
"One of their little receivers tried to cut me, and I planted wrong," Matthews said, via PackersNews.com. "So I felt a little something down there."
Matthews attempted to return to the game on multiple occasions but returned to the sideline each time, and in the end, did not return to the game.
"I felt a little something, but I think just being cautious moving forward," Matthews said. "I don't know what to tell you. I feel good now, but obviously I'm not running around full speed."
Matthews added that he hopes to know his status later this week.
