Report: Kyle Cook retires after 6 seasons

Andrew Weber / USA TODAY Sports

Kyle Cook has reportedly decided to retire after the center failed to sign on with a team following his release from the Cincinnati Bengals in March.

Cook, 31, spent the majority of his six-year career with the Bengals, starting 66 of his 73 games with the franchise.

He played for Michigan State and went undrafted during the 2007 NFL Draft, but managed to sign with the Minnesota Vikings. Cook was then released shortly before the season in September and signed on with the Bengals' practice squad days later.
