Redskins fan turning autographs into tattoos: 'As long as they're a starter I want them on my arm'
Charlie White's arms are getting a little crowded.
The Redskins fan already has plenty of football-themed tattoos adorning his body, but his latest body-art obsession is probably his most ambitious: get every starter to autograph his arms, then turn those signatures into tattoos.
"As long as they're a starter I want them on my arm," White told ESPN. "I believe in getting starters on my arm for a reason. It's because I bleed burgundy and gold."
White already has the signatures of quarterback Robert Griffin III, wide receivers DeSean Jackson and Santana Moss, fullback Darrel Young and defensive backs Ryan Clark and Brandon Meriweather, along with former starting receiver Josh Morgan.
Washington was the worst team in the NFC East last season, finishing 3-13. Perhaps that is why White chose not to add a tattoo of the Lombardi Trophy as well.
White knows his project will take a lot of ink, time and money, but he says his wife is behind him.
"She knows that between fishing and the Redskins, leave me alone," he said.
