Report: Giants' Chris Snee expected to retire Monday
New York Giants right guard Chris Snee will meet with the club Monday to discuss his future, according to Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News.
Snee's ailing elbow is reportedly "not good" and the injury could force him into retirement, Vacchiano writes.
Sources also tell the Star-Ledger that retirement appears to be the most likely outcome for the offensive lineman, who sat out the Giants' mandatory minicamp last month as a result of the injury.
Snee's last two seasons have ended in hip surgery and he was unable to make it through OTAs pain-free. The 32-year-old has started every game he played in since entering the league with the Giants in 2004.
Update [9:38 ET]: ESPN's Dan Graziano says Snee has decided to retire and will inform the club of his decision Monday.
