Oakland Raiders quarterback Terrelle Pryor saw the writing on the wall when his team acquired Matt Schaub from the Houston Texans via trade last week.
Now, Pryor is reportedly angling to negotiate a trade for himself - one out of town.
Source tells @FOXSports1 that QB Terrelle Pryor has asked for trade from @RAIDERS - not his release - after team traded for Matt Schaub

Pryor showed far more promise as a passer than most expected last season, winning the Raiders' starting quarterback job over Matt Flynn in training camp.
That said, the gaping holes in Pryor's game were apparent. Pryor excelled running the ball, but displayed horrific footwork when dropping back to pass. When the Raiders demoted Pryor in favor of undrafted rookie Matt McGloin mid-way through the season, it became clear that head coach Dennis Allen and general manager Reggie McKenzie did not see him as a long-term option at the position.
Pryor could generate some interest on the trade market, but he's unlikely to fetch anything more than a late-round draft pick for the Raiders.
