Analysis:
It's a homecoming of sorts for Idonije, who spent the first nine years of his career in Chicago before joining the Lions last season. Idonije previously served as a starter for the Bears, but fell off precipitously with the Lions, contributing only 11 tackles and a half-sack in 15 games. He'll more than likely be tabbed for a backup role this season, but should at least have the opportunity to compete for reps both at defensive end and on the interior.
