Cook visited with the team on Thursday and will battle for a spot in San Francisco's secondary. He recorded 123 tackles and no career interceptions in four seasons with the Vikings.
ESPN analyst Matt Williamson likes the move.
“He has a lot of talent,” Williamson said. “Maybe he can resurrect his career in San Francisco.”
