Patriots to release DT Sopoaga

The New England Patriots have informed defensive tackle Isaac Sopoaga of their plans to release him, according to Mike Reiss of ESPNBoston.com.
The 32-year-old was acquired from the Philadelphia Eagles in October 2013 in exchange for a 2014 fifth-round pick.
