Report: Ravens 'have an offer on the table' for WR Jacoby Jones
Wide receiver is one of the Baltimore Ravens' biggest team needs this offseason, so it's no surprise that NFL Network's Ian Rapoport is reporting the team wants to prevent impending free agent Jacoby Jones from hitting the open market.

Jones was often called into duty as a No. 2 receiver (behind Torrey Smith) in the 2013 Ravens offense, but he is more of a No. 3 option ideally. Ravens general manager Ozzie Newsome is a shrewd roster manager, and he'll surely be careful to avoid overpaying for Jones' services.
Even if Jones opts to re-sign with the Ravens, the team is likely to aggressively target a play-making receiver in free agency. Players like James Jones, Golden Tate and Andre Roberts would all be good fits.
