Simmons retiring with Broncos
Two-time Pro Bowl safety Justin Simmons announced his retirement from the NFL on Wednesday.
The 32-year-old will be retiring as a member of the Denver Broncos, with his announcement coming on the 10th anniversary of the day the AFC West franchise drafted him.

A third-round selection in 2016, Simmons developed into one of the league's biggest ball hawks during his time in Denver. He posted multiple interceptions in each of his eight seasons with the Broncos, including a league-leading six picks in 2022. His 30 interceptions with the team are tied for the seventh-most in franchise history.
Simmons spent the final year of his career with the Atlanta Falcons in 2024, recording two interceptions across 16 starts. He didn't play in the NFL last season.
Simmons' 32 interceptions during his active playing career led all NFL players (2016-24).
