Report: Ravens pick up Flowers' 5th-year option
The Baltimore Ravens exercised the fifth-year option on wide receiver Zay Flowers' rookie deal, a source told ESPN's Jamison Hensley, keeping him under contract through the 2027 season.
The 25-year-old wideout is eligible for an extension this offseason. Fellow 2023 draftee Jaxon Smith-Njigba has already landed a massive four-year, $168.6 million extension.
"I ain't really paying attention to (my contract), if I'm being honest," Flowers said earlier in April, according to team reporter Ryan Mink. "I go train every day. I let my agents handle that."
Flowers made it clear that he wants to remain in Baltimore for the foreseeable future.
"I don't want to go nowhere else," Flowers said.
Flowers has excelled during his first three NFL seasons. The Boston College product has hauled in 237 catches for 3,128 yards and 16 touchdowns in 50 regular-season contests. He's ranked 10th among receivers in yards and 13th in catches since entering the league in 2023.
