The Dallas Cowboys have engaged in trade talks with multiple teams about acquiring defensive players, including Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Trey Hendrickson and Miami Dolphins edge rusher Bradley Chubb, according to NFL insider Jordan Schultz.

Dallas is focused on adding pass-rushers and linebackers ahead of Tuesday's 4 p.m. ET trade deadline, according to Schultz. Additionally, the team has reportedly shown interest in disgruntled Bengals linebacker Logan Wilson, who recently requested a trade.

Team owner Jerry Jones said Monday that Dallas already made a deal but declined to share details.

"We certainly have made a trade, and we may make a couple more trades before that deadline," Jones said on "The Stephen A. Smith Show" on SiriusXM Radio. "We've made one. We possibly could make two more, and I'm going to wait and let you read about that when we send the papers in tomorrow."

The Bengals reportedly want at least one first-round pick in return for Hendrickson. Chubb is also believed to be available as the 2-7 Dolphins have become sellers. Miami sent pass-rusher Jaelan Phillips to the Philadelphia Eagles for a third-round selection on Monday.

Led by quarterback Dak Prescott, Dallas boasts one of the NFL's best offenses, ranking fourth in EPA/play. However, the club's defensive unit places 31st in that category.

The Cowboys notably parted ways with defensive cornerstone Micah Parsons in August, acquiring two future first-round picks from the Green Bay Packers as part of the blockbuster trade.
