Baltimore Ravens defensive lineman Nnamdi Madubuike won't play on Monday Night Football against the Detroit Lions due to a neck injury, head coach John Harbaugh told reporters Saturday.

Madubuike hasn't practiced this week, and it's uncertain when he suffered the ailment. Harbaugh indicated it's possible Madubuike could miss more than just the Week 3 contest.

"I can't really comment on it right now. I don't know enough to say," Harbaugh said when asked if Madubuike could land on injured reserve, according to The Athletic's Jeff Zrebiec.

The 27-year-old has recorded three quarterback hits, two sacks, and seven tackles this season while playing over 64% of Baltimore's defensive snaps. He signed a four-year, $98 million extension last year and is the fourth highest-paid defensive tackle in the league.

Madubuike was selected in the third round of the 2020 draft. He has 203 tackles and 30 sacks in 78 career games.
