Panthers claim former Broncos WR King off waivers, cut CB Moore
Wide receiver Tavarres King lost his roster spot with the Denver Broncos when Von Miller returned from a six-game suspension, but he won't be without a job for long.
Wide receiver Taverras King, whom Denver released Saturday, was claimed on waivers by the Carolina Panthers.

The Panthers may have found themselves a steal. Despite being unable to keep him on their 53-man roster, it was apparent the Broncos thought highly of King.
When the Broncos promoted WR Tavarres King to their 53-man roster, they signed him to 4-yr contract. Most promotions get 3-yr deals.

The Broncos almost certainly hoped King would pass through waivers unclaimed, so they could add him back to their practice squad.
In order to make room for King, the Panthers released veteran nickelback D.J. Moore.
