Steelers veterans won't let new players play pool or ping pong
Jory Rand, a sports reporter for KDKA-TV in Pittsburgh, reports that a group of Pittsburgh Steelers' veterans recently instituted a team rule prohibiting players with less than four years of NFL service from playing pool or ping pong in the locker room.

Signs were posted all around the locker room announcing the change. I tried to get veterans to talk about it but few were willing.

The signs say anyone with less than 4 years NFL experience cannot play locker room pool or ping pong during business hours.

Things are getting desperate in Pittsburgh. The Steelers are 0-2 for the first time during Mike Tomlin's tenure, and the team's offense has looked anemic.
Somehow, it's difficult to believe some rookies playing pool in the locker room between meetings is the cause of the Steelers' woes.
