Opposing defenses might have more problems stopping the Miami Dolphins than Tyreek Hill first thought.

On Thursday, Hill expressed how impressed he's been by wide receiver Jaylen Waddle, who's been one of Miami's biggest stars of training camp.

"Oh, they're (going to be) scared shitless," Hill said when how asked how defenses will react to him and Waddle playing together, according to NFL Network's Cameron Wolfe.

"He's faster than I thought. When I first got here, I was like, 'OK, he's a 4.3 (in the 40-yard dash).' Typically, guys don't run as fast on the football field, but he actually runs a 4.3 on the football field."

Hill added: "I'm very excited for the season. I can't wait to see him blossoming (and) continue to move his game forward, which I know he will because he comes out here every single day and works hard and wants to get better."

Hill's comments come after a solid second day of camp for Waddle, who caught seven passes at practice and didn't have any drops, according to USA Today's Safid Deen. One of Waddle's catches was perhaps the Dolphins' most impressive play of camp:

Miami put together one of the NFL's most dynamic and explosive offenses this offseason. The Dolphins acquired Hill in a trade from the Kansas City Chiefs and signed running back Raheem Mostert and receiver Cedrick Wilson, among others. Waddle, who showed off blazing speed at Alabama, is entering his second year in the league after being drafted sixth overall in 2021.

When asked what cars he and Waddle would be on the field, Hill said they're a "Lambo and a Ferrari," according to Deen.

Many consider Hill the NFL's fastest receiver. The six-time Pro Bowler has established himself as one of football's most explosive weapons, combining for 198 receptions, 2,515 yards, and 24 touchdowns over the last two seasons.

Meanwhile, Waddle posted a strong rookie campaign in 2021, racking up 1,015 yards and six touchdowns on 104 catches.
