Incognito apologizes to Vikings' Zimmer after Twitter rant
Free-agent offensive lineman Richie Incognito has apologized after directing a Twitter rant toward Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer on Tuesday.
I would also like to apologize to Coach Mike Zimmer. My bad dude! Tony was a father figure to me. Still dealing with his loss ✝️

Incognito posted a series of since-deleted tweets on Tuesday calling Zimmer a liar for refuting Incognito's claims that he was fielding interest from the Vikings and Seattle Seahawks.
The 35-year-old also posted - then deleted - what he claimed were screenshots of a conversation he'd had with late former Vikings offensive line coach Tony Sparano, whom Incognito worked under with the Miami Dolphins in 2010 and 2011.
I’m definitely getting yelled at for this one. Haven’t even called my dad yet. The shame is real! I’m waving my flag in defeat Twitter - 1 Richie -0 for the day https://t.co/tCd7YyrjY5
