It appears Chris Long will be vying for his third straight Super Bowl in 2018.

Long has agreed to a restructured contract with the Philadelphia Eagles and intends to play this upcoming season, VP of football operations Howie Roseman announced via PhiladelphiaEagles.com's Dave Spadaro.

The veteran pass-rusher was apparently considering retirement, but he'll be back with the defending champions in 2017. According to ESPN's Field Yates, Long agreed to a new contract last week, lowering his cap hit and increasing player bonuses.

Long accumulated 28 tackles and five sacks last year for the Eagles. The former second overall pick (2008) will be entering his 10th NFL season.
