Former San Francisco 49ers linebacker NaVorro Bowman is scheduled to visit the Dallas Cowboys after he first meets with the Oakland Raiders on Monday, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Bowman, a four-time All-Pro, was released by the 49ers on Friday after the team failed to trade him.

The veteran was reportedly unhappy with his decreased playing time, while rookie linebacker Reuben Foster was scheduled to displace him in the 49ers' lineup.

Bowman would potentially fortify a Cowboys linebacker corps that has dealt with several injuries this season.
